I read quite a bit and this book runs really nicely. Much like Captain Smith's fishing exploits, he baits you with stories of his and his brother, Kunta, stories, and then throws the bait out for the meat of the story. That story is catching record fish in places most people only dream of. Whether interested in the technical aspects of fishing on light tackle down to the hooks and reals or just looking for a vicarious set of stories, Skip delivers both. Highly recommended.

Great job Skip. Dad sent me a copy and I already finished. Not only did you tell your story, but you helped tell the story of the greatest fisherman (my dad) who ever lived. I'm sure the rest of the Dunaway family will agree with me! Oh, and I remember the snake. Yikes.

Awesome book. Easy read and brings the world of big time Sport Fishing for light tackle World Records to life. It documents the story of some epic adventures. Better by far than any of the Zane Grey books
